I have been away for some time~a few days spent in the Amish Country in PA, which was so beautiful and delightful. I went with 3 friends and we spent time in a little cottage (a parish house) right next to a very old church and a cemetery. What I enjoyed the most was simply the environment, and eating dinner with an Amish family in their home. It was quite an experience. After coming home, I had some surgery, so have not been blogging as usual. I am posting a picture of a button pin I made for a swap. It is the first time I have swapped button jewelry and this one went to the UK, along with a yummy chocolate bar! I will post some photos of my time in Churchtown, PA. I plan to use some of the photos for paintings.
