Deb's Healing Garland, more links
Here are more links made for Deb's Healing Garland..... I had the previous week's links pictured, but deleted them accidentally from my Iphoto, after posting to the 14 Secret's group.... these are the most recent. We will continue making the links until the end of May.

limbo
No sun and lots of rain, day 3. I definitely am sun deprived... no energy and in a funk. Time to make some art!

Travelling Artists Guild
Today took a great deal of time uploading my photos for the Travelling Artists Guild Journey Blog. If you care to check out this group of artists who are writing and creating art for an imaginary journey you may do so by going to:

This is the latest piece of art I created to illustrate Lavenda Kakabell meeting with the StarSpirit
Deb's Healing Garland ~~ Day 1 through 6
Here are the first six healing garland pieces that will link together to make a complete garland for the days in May. The Healing Garland is a memorial tribute to Deb Gilchrist, an art sister who passed in March 2011, which our art group "14 Secrets for a Happy Artists Life" is participating in currently.

the busy bee finds no time for sorrow
I have been working on a variety of art projects ad find I am distracted from loss somewhat. I have resumed writing and creating a bit of art for the Travelling Artists Guild, and that is time consuming yet healing. The healing garland project is going well, and I make one after retrieving the prompt from our group page each morning. That is also very healing. My commission is taking a bit of time, but will be a lovely piece of work when comleted. The sun is shining today, and life is good.

Art Art Art
I am really busy with making art.... I am a bit behind, actually. I very much enjoy the Healing Garland project that our group is working on each day this month of May, for our dear friend, Deb Gilchrist, who passed away in March. One of our awesome group moderators, Gena, thought of this memorial for Deb.... members taking 2 days of the month each, and offering a prompt as a start to create art on a strip of paper, to create a healing garland. I look forward to this first thing in the morning, to start my day. It truly is healing and a great tribute to Deb. I haven't done much on my painting commission, as I found it hard to focus.... lots to do ..... will post some pictures of the garland pieces after 7 pieces at a time are completed...then will attach them to each other weekly.
