Ogunquit , ME and Northampton, MA

What a terrific weekend I had! Yesterday I joined some friends on a bus trip to Ogunquit, Me and had such a super day. We walked along the Marginal Way, and even saw a woman who was fishing on the rocks catch a very large fish! It was great: she almost lost the pole, but quickly gained control. That is how heavy the fish was (It looked to be about 20 to 24 inches long!). Lots of shopping and looking at beautiful pieces of art created by gifted crafts persons and artisans. But, today was the best! I attended Malea Rhodes' porcelain clay workshop and made buttons and beads. http://www.maleaspottery.com She can also be found on "Etsy". This was a first for me and I just reveled in it. Talk about therapy!! I know I will be making more buttons and beads with porcelain clay in the future. When I pick up my work on August 10th, I will photograph all and put it on my blog so that you can all see what I made.
