A piece of art expressing 3 things that I am grateful for.... and, of course, there are many more things in my life to be grateful for. It was fun and a challenge to create the art. Each was separate, and I decided to place them together on a piece of foam core. I hung it in my kitchen where it fit nicely into a small narrow space....I see it all the time and it reminds me of my good fortune.

Bird ATC's
Here are some of the bird atc's I have been working on. I only needed 3 for a 3 for 3 ATC swap, but I had so much fun, I kept on going! It snowed most of the morning, and it was a good day to stay inside, nice and warm, focusing on creating works of art. A big pot of home made soup simmering on the stove was a plus.

Oh happy day! The problem was so simple, I am greatly embarrassed to even say. I am still in that learning curve, and will be for a long time, I am sure of it. The Blogger help group came through, and even Imelda (Greenishlady) knew what it might be. Thank you for your help. I am posting some completed pictures of my studio that I submitted to Clothpaperscissors magazine for their special edition of "Studios". I hope they consider mine, as it was a long time coming and really suits my needs. Thank you all for your patience. Always, Barbara

inspiration cruisin
This morning I have spent about 2 hours looking at various blogs that were posted on Lani Puppetmakers site. I cannot fathom the remarkable and marvelous talent that is out in the world. It is remarkable. Today I am posting some recent paintings. I also bought myself a birthday present of a professional astrology program, which is challenging and very useful. Lots of things going on during this beginning of the new year. Happy New Year to you!

ATC's for Gluebots Group
Finished a series of ATC's for one of my favorite groups (Gluebots). Seven cards, one for each day of the week..... modeled after vintage embroidery. I had fun making them and they brought back memories of when I embroidered some dishtowels a very long time ago. I have one left, and it is falling apart!
